Network Controls and Electric named one of South Carolina’s fastest growing companies
Network Controls and Electric was honored as one of the Palmetto State’s highest-performing companies among South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2009 program’s Top 25. Network Controls and Electric, which provides high quality, single-source design, installation and maintenance of communication networks and electrical infrastructure, received the honor during the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Summit at the Wild Dunes Resort near Charleston, S.C.
The South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companies program, sponsored by The Capital Corporation of Greenville, SC, and the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, recognizes an exceptional and diverse set of businesses from across the state. This year’s winners represent a cross-section of industries and business categories, including: financial services, construction, manufacturing, professional services, and technology among others.
With offices in Greenville and Columbia and a service area encompassing South Carolina and North Carolina, Network Controls and Electric ranked 6th out of 25 fastest-growing companies in South Carolina. Network Controls and Electric Network Controls & Electric currently employs 68 fulltime employees and over 20 part time subcontractors.
Accepting this award on behalf of Network Controls was Brad Cunningham, Network Controls and Electric’s President and CEO. “Network Controls and Electric has bridged the recession with determination, bright employees and excellent delivery of products and services,” Cunningham said. “The real credit goes to our visionary customers, who continued to build the future of South Carolina, inspired by innovation and unheeded by economic downturn.”
Otis Rawl, president and chief executive officer of program co-sponsor South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, thinks this success in the midst of somewhat troubling times is encouraging: “It is so important to the growth of our state that we continue to have companies that persevere through all kinds of economic weather,” Rawl said.
Now in its 8th year, South Carolina’s Fastest Growing companies recognizes companies throughout South Carolina for the highest percentage increases in both gross revenue (or assets) and full-time employment over the previous fiscal year.
